What is the reason for the silicon oil falling off from the release film?
Release film refers to a film with distinguishable outer surface properties. When in contact with specific materials under limited conditions, release film does not exhibit tackiness or only exhibits minimal tackiness. Typically, to enhance the release force of plastic films, plasma treatment, fluorine coating, or silicone release agent coating is applied to the surface layer of film materials such as PET, PE, PP, OPP, and so on.
Regarding various types of organic pressure-sensitive adhesives, they can exhibit extremely light and stable release forces. Depending on the required release force of the release film, the viscosity of the isolation product adhesive varies, and the release force is adjusted accordingly to achieve an extremely light and stable release force during peeling. Regarding the claim of silicone oil removal:
1. Excessively high temperature during the use of release film
2. Improper storage
3. Uneven coating

Release film is a commonly used material in thermal transfer printing. Its base material is PET, which is coated with silicone oil, hence also known as silicone oil film. The typical thickness ranges from 25um to 150um. It is available in both hot and cold peelable versions, as well as glossy and matte finishes. Through anti-static and anti-scratch treatments, the product exhibits excellent adhesion and conformability.
